Financial Policy
Consultations
All new patients are scheduled for a consultation to discuss their goals, have a physical examination, and to formulate a treatment plan. When you call our office to schedule a consultation, we will require credit card information at the time of booking to secure your reserved time. We accept Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Consultation scheduling fees are only charged to the card you provide to us within 2 business days of your reserved appointment.
Surgical Consultations are scheduled primarily with the Surgeon. The consultation fee for a Surgical consultation is $200 plus HST, for a total of ($226.00). This fee will be deducted from the total cost of the surgery should you wish to proceed. The surgical consult deduction may be applied to a surgical procedure only and is not transferrable to non-surgical procedures or injectable treatments.
Non-surgical consultations for aging skin concerns, laser treatments, or injectables are scheduled with one of our Nurse Injectors or Medical Aestheticians, along with our Nurse Practitioner. The Non-Surgical consultation fee is $88.50 plus GST ($100.01). The cost of your consultation may be credited towards the cost of your first treatment or initial product purchase (must be a minimum of $250), provided it is within 60 days of your initial consultation.
If you are unable to keep your scheduled consultation, to avoid incurring the above fees, we do require two full business days notice.
Payment Types
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit cards, Cash and Bank Drafts. We do not accept personal or business cheques.
Financing
For patients who would like to explore finance options, Third-party outside financing is available directly with IFinance Medical (Medicard) or Beautifi. Both companies work with patients to help them finance treatment. They offer several repayment plans with various interest rates and payment options. Surgical Fees and Payment Policy
The cost of procedures vary depending on your aesthetic goals, and individual treatment plan. After your consultation, you will be provided with a personalized quote for your proposed treatment options. If you have any questions, our patient coordinators will be happy to go over them with you and will help you to schedule your appointments.
Non-Surgical Treatments

Surgical Fee Information
All Quotations for Cosmetic Surgery include the following:
- The surgeons fee
- Anaesthesiologist and nursing team fees
- Operating room/surgical facility fees
- Pre and post -op follow up appointments
- Cost of implants or required surgical garments
- All Taxes (shown separately on your estimate)
Scheduling your Surgical Procedure – Booking Fee
Surgical dates are in high demand and require organizing not only the surgeon’s time, but also nurses, anesthesiologist, and OR time.
A non-refundable surgical booking fee of $1000 plus HST is required to secure a surgical date. This fee reserves a time for you and prevents another patient from being booked on the same day. For this reason the SURGICAL BOOKING FEE is Non-refundable. This fee will be deducted from the total cost of your surgery.
When is Payment Due?
Your surgery involves arranging and scheduling our team of qualified and dedicated professionals. The full payment for your surgery is due 3 – 4 weeks prior to your confirmed surgical date (Usually at your pre-op appointment if your surgery requires one).
Scheduled surgeries require careful planning, please understand our cancellation policy. Should you have to cancel your surgery after full payment has been made, please note the following:
In addition to the non-Refundable Booking fee, the following additional charges will apply:
Cancellation 15 – 21 days prior to your procedure date will result in a 25% loss of all remaining fees.
Cancellation 8 – 14 days prior to your procedure date will result in a 50% loss of all remaining fees
Cancellation 7 days or less from your procedure will result in 100% loss of all fees.
In the event of a life-threatening emergency or medical illness which requires a cancellation of a scheduled surgery, a note from your physician detailing the reason for a cancellation will be required before consideration of a full refund.
On the day of surgery if you are late for surgery, or non-compliant with test requirements and/or dietary restrictions, for your safety the surgery may have to be delayed or cancelled. You may be responsible for any additional charges incurred because of this delay, and or any fees associated with cancellation.
Refund Policy –If a refund is granted, and payments to the clinic were made by credit card, AestheteMD will deduct 2.4% from the refunded amount to cover credit card processing fees. Refunds will be given in the form of a cheque made out to the patient.
Revision Policy – If a revision surgery is requested, patients will be responsible for all Operating Room expenses, i.e. Facility fee, Anesthesia costs and nursing support. Surgical fees will be determined based on the revision and will be at the discretion of the surgeon.
Discharge of Surgical Patients –After completion of surgery, and appropriate follow ups completed, patients will be discharged surgically from care. The patient surgeon relationship will finish 2 years from the date of the surgery, and you will be dismissed surgically from the practice. No other follow-up appointments will be booked.
