Helen
Registered Nurse and Injection Specialist
Helen graduated from the University of Ottawa with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing on the Dean’s list, Cum Laude.
Helen has practiced clinical nursing for nearly a decade and has always had a keen eye and interest in the aesthetic industry. While practicing as a specialized certified oncology nurse in hematology and radiation oncology at The Ottawa Hospital, Helen knew she wanted a career where she can amalgamate her passion for aesthetics and nursing.
As one of our primary providers of injectable services (neuromodulators, fillers, mesotherapy, PRP), Helen has completed her specialized training in Neuromodulators, Fillers, Cosmetic Lasers & Microdermabrasion, Business of Medical Aesthetics, and Sclerotherapy, and is a 3X certified lash technician. She has worked closely with Dr. Javidnia to become an expert injector who is highly respected by our patients. Helen consistently stays abreast of the latest techniques and products in the field by attending regular medical meetings and training conferences. She brings this information and new skills to our patients and shares in Dr. Javidnia’s philosophy that cosmetic treatments should always aim to produce the most natural appearing results. Our patients continuously feedback their extreme satisfaction in Helen’s impeccable care and eye for the best aesthetic outcomes. She produces reliably natural treatments while meeting her patient’s aesthetic goals.
As one of our primary operating room nurses and coordinators, Helen has completed specialized training including certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She maintains our communications with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario for our state of the art operating facility, meeting stringent requirements for maintenance of our Out of Hospital Surgical Facility accreditation. She is a reliable and compassionate partner throughout our surgical process. Our patients take comfort in Helen’s consummate professionalism and evident commitment to providing the best pre and post-surgical care as well as safe and flawless surgical experience.
Sandie
Registered Nurse and Injection Specialist
Sandie brings over 30 years of nursing experience to the AēstheteMD team. Having started her career in the medical/surgical unit at Hawkesbury General Hospital, she earned a post- graduate certificate specializing in Operating Room Nursing. Sandie relocated to Ottawa in 2001. While still retaining her position in the Hawkesbury operating room, she worked at multiple dental clinics in the Ottawa region performing nurse sedations and leading operating rooms as Head OR Nurse. Working closely with facial surgeons peaked Sandie’s interest in the exciting emerging field of anti-aging treatments.
Sandie was asked to join a facial and cosmetic surgery centre in Ottawa in 2005. This led to a path of facial aesthetics which she has been practicing for over 17 years. During this time, Sandie is grateful to have had many opportunities to hone her skills as a Nurse Injector; from international conferences in Rome and London gaining exposure to leading edge techniques and technology on the global stage, to the many seminars and courses annually in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa.
Sandie’s mission statement is to help her patients become “ their best self”. Her philosophy is truly patient centred….to listen to her patients’ concerns and to assess and offer options and guidance based on their goals. A relationship based on trust and mutual respect with her patients is paramount to Sandie’s practice. It is about the person, not just the face. She offers treatments which provide a natural and refreshed look.
As a dedicated health care professional, Sandie has always had an interest in natural health and loves to research and build on her medical experience and knowledge as a nurse and look at options that compliment health in general. Aging brings changes to the body that sometimes we don’t understand. For women in particular, going through the menopausal journey can accelerate aging…..Tempering this with natural looking treatments goes a long way to looking and feeling great.
In her spare time, Sandie loves to travel and explore. She golfs, loves to dance, goes to the gym and recently has tried her hand at pickle ball…a little like tennis. She enjoys entertaining, fine dining and enjoying time with her family and friends. Sandie has 2 children and 2 grandchildren and a mother that, over 90 years, is her best friend!
Sandie had the opportunity to work with Dr. Javidnia for a number of years prior to the opening of AestheteMD. From consults to surgeries, she came to know Dr. Javidnia as a highly skilled surgeon, caring and considerate, always listening and offering advice and treatment options. As a team, they are fully aligned in their philosophy of the highest standards of patient centered care. We are excited to add Sandie to our AestheteMD Team and to welcome her patients to our Centre for Surgical and Aesthetic Excellence!
Kim
Registered Operating Room Nurse
Having practiced as an RN for nearly 40 years, our surgical team at AēstheteMD feels lucky to have Kim’s wealth of knowledge, care, and experience in helping us provide the highest standard of surgical care to our patients. As one of our primary operating room nurses and coordinators, Kim has completed specialized training including intensive training in Operating Room Techniques, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Surgical Instrument Sterilization. While assisting Dr. Javidnia in every step of our surgical process from before to after surgery, Kim also helps in the maintenance of our state of the art operating facility, meeting stringent requirements for our Out of Hospital Surgical Facility accreditation.
She is a meticulous and consistent partner throughout our surgical process who holds the care of our patients to the highest standards. Our staff and patients take comfort in Kim’s impeccable care, evident years of experience, attention to every detail, and consistent professionalism. Our patients tell us that from the moment they meet Kim, it’s easy for them to rest assured that they are in the best care possible.
Tima
Operating Room Nurse
At AestheteMD, Tima our Operating Room Nurse is a cornerstone of surgical excellence, safety, and patient-centered care. With 18 years of nursing experience and certification in OR nursing, she brings an exceptional level of technical skill, intelligence, and composure to every procedure.
Her background in labor and delivery nursing – one of the most intimate and high-intensity areas of patient care – has shaped her deeply attentive, one-on-one approach to patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. This experience, combined with her meticulous attention to detail, allows her to anticipate needs, maintain rigorous safety standards, and ensure each surgical experience is conducted with precision and calm assurance.
She works in close collaboration with Dr. Javidnia, supporting each procedure with seamless coordination and consistently exceptional outcomes.
Renowned for her unwavering commitment to protocol and patient safety, she serves as AestheteMD’s Surgical Safety Officer, overseeing surgical standards with diligence and clarity. Her highly organized, methodical approach supports seamless operating room flow and reinforces the clinic’s commitment to excellence at every level.
Above all, she is known for her extraordinary patient focus, balancing technical mastery with genuine empathy so that each patient feels protected, informed, and confidently cared for throughout their surgical journey.
Outside the operating room, she is a dedicated mother of three who brings the same organization and clarity to family life that defines her professional practice. She enjoys running, playing ultimate frisbee, and staying active with her children.

Office Manager
At AestheteMD, our Practice Manager, Mary, plays a central role in delivering the elevated, seamless experience our patients expect. With over 10 years of healthcare experience and more than 15 years in leadership and management, she brings depth of knowledge, professionalism, and genuine care to every aspect of the practice.
Mary is known for her thoughtful, patient-focused approach and her ability to navigate even the most sensitive conversations with clarity, discretion, and compassion. She oversees the clinic’s daily operations, financial and pricing structures, and administrative processes, ensuring all policies remain transparent, fair, and aligned with both patient expectations and the integrity of the practice. Her calm, reassuring presence helps patients feel informed, respected, and confident throughout their experience.
Behind the scenes, Mary is equally committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for the AestheteMD team. She believes exceptional patient care begins with an empowered, valued staff, and her leadership style reflects attentiveness, fairness, and a strong understanding of both patient experience and operational excellence.
Mary finds great fulfillment in guiding patients through their facial rejuvenation journeys and witnessing the renewed confidence that comes from thoughtfully planned, transformative results.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys staying active with hiking and spending quality time with her two older sons, and embracing opportunities to explore the outdoors and create meaningful memories together.
Allison
Surgical and Patient Care Coordinator
After working for a facial and cosmetic surgery centre for nearly 25 years, Allison brings her years of knowledge and hard work to further enhance client experience at AestheteMD. Her kind hearted persona, combined with a clear understanding of our health care industry, makes for a specialized and unique meaningful environment for our patients.
From the beginning, Allison found a passion for working with the public. She loves welcoming new faces and ensures everyone leaves well informed, satisfied, and happy with their visit. She is always looking for ways to grow, and improve; and ensures that the clinic is following on the same path.
In her spare time, Allison enjoys spending time at the family cottage, watching a great Netflix series and being with her puppies.
Allison had the opportunity to work with Dr. Javidnia a number of years ago, and both are very excited to be working together once more.
Veronica
Medical Administrator
Veronica brings over 13 years of experience in the beauty industry. Educated at Versailles Academy of Make-Up Arts, Esthetics, and Hair, she has a strong foundation in professional service and client care.
Veronica is passionate about working with the public and helping others feel confident. Known for her welcoming attitude, she plays an essential role in ensuring a positive experience for both our patients and team members.
Many patients may also recognize Veronica for her work behind the camera. She possesses specialized skills in facial photography and video capture, documenting patient journeys with exceptional attention to detail and professionalism.
Outside of the office, Veronica is an avid reader who finishes approximately 50 books a year. She also enjoys baking, bringing the same creativity and warmth to her personal life as she does to our clinic.

With interests ranging from personal development to healthy living, Pamela’s service philosophy comes from a genuine desire to enhance her life and the life of everyone around her. She has years of customer service experience and keeps our patients informed of what’s new and happening at AēstheteMD though the ever-changing world of Social Media.
