We ensure that your treatment is very comfortable by using topical anesthetic. As well, the formulation of the injection includes local anesthetic/freezing solution helping to numb the injection area for maximal comfort.
Down time after Sculptra facial treatment?
Usually treatment involves minimal to no down time. As with all injectable treatments some minor swelling and bruising can occur for a few days following treatment. Using ice immediately after the treatment and for the first 24 hours helps to minimize any bruising and swelling. Makeup can be used to camouflage minor bruising.
Although there will be some initial improvement of facial volume immediately after injections, this is usually swelling and will only last for a few days. Longer-term improvement will begin over 4-6 weeks and continues for several months after the final treatment session.
